Its success provides support for programs not funded by CPS, including teacher grants, modernizing Lane's aging facility, adding security upgrades to keep students safe, and supporting all e-learning and technology needs.

Lane Tech College Prep is the largest public school in Chicago, ranked #5 in Illinois by U.S. News and World Report. To achieve this level of success, Lane has developed an unparalleled portfolio of challenging academic programs, skill-building STEM classes and extracurricular activities, many of which are not possible without community donations.
To achieve this year’s fundraising goals, the annual Green and Gold Gala, an all-volunteer, parent- driven, community event will be hosted by the Friends of Lane on May 3, 2024 at Theatre on the Lake. We expect 700 people to attend, and thousands will be invited. Please support Lane Tech by donating a unique experience, item, gift certificate or cash sponsorship for the gala auction.
